Welcome to Dulverton Angus Stud

Dulverton Angus Stud was founded in 1981 by Greg and Sally Chappell. Shannon Vale Station at Glen Innes Northern NSW is home to the Dulverton Angus stud comprising 450 Angus Females and upwards of 200 Angus Bulls.

With academic qualifications in Meat Science whilst establishing Dulverton Stud in the the 1980’s Greg also worked for Australian Meat and Livestock Corporation / Aus-Meat. In the 1990’s Greg worked as a consultant to the Meat Research Corporation and was heavily involved in the development of the now acclaimed Domestic Beef Grading System – MSA.

Greg and Sally combine a lifetime of knowledge of Meat Science and cattle breeding to breed Angus Bulls that are genetically high performers that are suitable for Stud breeding and commercial pure and crossbred breeding.
