Black Pearls are Pearlers

This year we will offer the first of our Black Pearl progeny. We used Black Pearl, he is one of Dick Whale’s “stable”, and because of his calving ease, to growth spread and his carcase attributes. We have been mighty impressed with the performance of his first set of calves at Dulverton so much so that we have used him for a third season. I think two sons in this draft are worthy of close scrutiny, they are

LOT 7 – DULVERTON LOHNRO L16

We used L16 over heifers, they are about to start calving. Note his calving ease and birth weight numbers and his milk. He is powerfully built, moves really well, has a great temperament, doing ability and scrotal circumference. Interestingly way back in his dam’s pedigree he shares a common ancestor with our Te Mania purchase, Kilkenny K91 who also is out of a Mittagong cow.

LOT 2 – DULVERTON MONTJEU M52

M52 is a unique package, combining Black Pearl with Right Time 338, design plus 97 and G.T.Max is it any wonder he exhibits such depth thickness and natural muscling. Again his temperament and scrotal circumference are exemplary.
