2021 Commercial Heifers PTIC

The Commercial Heifers have drafted up very nicely into three Pens of Five (5).

They will calve from the beginning of August to the end of the second week in September. The heifers are in calf to-:

  • Dulverton QAFILA Q011 a son of the proven Calving Ease Champion in D. Montjeu M013, Q011 is +5.3 for Calving Ease, +6.3 Calving Ease Maternal and -6.7 for gestation length. Note Q011 is born very early in the “Drop” a trait that helps promote the Maternal traits including Calving Ease, he is also out of a first calf heifer unassisted.
  • Dulverton Qualify Q157 a son of one of our favourite Wattletop K252’s, although he is out of a Cow, her pedigree boasts Calving Ease, he is +7.3 for Calving Ease; +7.8 Calving Ease Maternal and -7.6 for Gestation Length.
